Underdogs vs Cobra Kai
Both teams are coming off wins. One is coming off an actual win and the other is coming off a moral win, which in some cases can be an even more boost to that team. Underdogs are coming off a must needed victory against the Elites. The Dogs are beginning to look like the team everyone expected them to be. The looked fluid, Waqas made all the right throws, Rob Jones finally had a breakout performance which gave the offensive a much needed go to guy to carry the burden after Waqas. Overall, it was a solid performance by the Dogs. The Underdogs need to carry this momentum against a Cobra Kai squad that is really starting to believe that they can hang with the top teams in the league. I don’t think any team wants to play a team with that kind of thoughts in their heads. We talked a lot about captain Fabio who has the will of a warrior and who plays both sides of the ball. If Fabio can limit his mistakes in the air than it could be a close game. If he can find Anthony, Brian, and JP close it’ll open up the big man Kevin on those do or die 3rd and 4th downs down field especially in the redzone. Cobras defense needs to find a way to stop a Underdogs offense that is really starting to shine and with the addition of Alex in the Middle it gives them much needed IQin that position. The cannot allow a player like Rob Jones to get into open space because if he does than he has the potential to beat every defender 1 on 1.
Final Thought:
Underdogs are starting to build the momentum needed to sustain going into the latter part of the season. They have had a tough schedule, which in our eyes, was the perfect way to improve the most. Going up against the top teams and somewhat hanging with them gave them the much needed gelling period to solidify. Cobras biggest issue is experience and we are starting to notice attendance issues as well. The experience will come but the attendance is suspect.
Gotta give the Dogs their bone…

AK vs Elites
AK coming off another win against a winless Bandits squad. AK was so good that they didn’t even need Sims this week. We saw Amneet QB, Kenny QB, Ginny QB, and we think Harpal even had a couple of throws in there. It was just AK playing around with the Bandits. Actually they have been doing that to everyone so far. AK’s schedule is starting to get tougher but they have to get past the Elites first. The Elites lost a heart breaker against the Underdogs this past week. They had the Dogs by the leash but somehow they were able to escape without a scratch. The Elites definitely have the potential to be very good but too many small mistakes are starting to cost them Bigly. It will be a tough match up for the Elites this week against the #1 offense in the league plus we hear Sims is going to be around this week so gonna be a long day. The Elites have to have perfect play and throw in some trick plays from Aldo, Kaiser, Pete, Muhaymin, Anas (Possible certain QB situations, hes not bad…)and Squirrels to have a chance. Unfortunately every team has to run into AK and its the Elites turn….
Final Thought:
Love the Elites, they have done a great job this year of recruiting (especially Aldo and our man Mr. Squirrels (yes, he went from The Squirrel to Mr. Squirrels) but this ain’t gonna be a walk in the park for them…Too much fire power from AK (Richie, Kenny, Amneet, Harpal, Ginny, Sukhi, etc etc etc etc etc etvc efvwrdkj…..
