Underdogs vs Thunder
One of the highlight games of the week. Both teams struggled early on but the Underdogs were able to pull out of the slump and get 2 very necessary wins for them. The 2 wins puts them at 3-3 and propelled them to the #5 spot in the standings. The offense is finally starting to click and Waqas is finally starting to settle down and making the right throws to the play makers and letting them dictate the game. The Underdogs’ rate of giving up points has finally stopped hemorrhaging and the D has finally locked down. They have a tough game against a hungry Thunder squad looking for their first win in what seems like an eternity. Both teams have basically went through the gauntlet of the Top teams so for both teams its a little weight off their backs. The Thunder has had a tough schedule so far but what’s important is that they stay mentally in it. This game can be a turning point for them if they can pull it off. But the only way it can happen if the Thunder receivers can help their QB out in this one. There were so many dropped passes last week it was almost unreal. Dude had a touchdown in his hands and the defender didn’t even move but alas it was dropped and the momentum shifted, again. The Thunder has left more points on the field than any other team this year. From our view, it seems that their 3 biggest obstacle is the dropped balls, scoring from within the Redzone, and an enthusiastic character (Thunder has been awfully quiet this year, where’s the fire, where’s the emotion?????) . If they can figure out those two essential parts of the game this week they can pull it off.
Final Word:
The Dogs are on a Hot streak (Hot streak, Dogs = Hotdogs?) right now and we don’t see them taking the gas off the pedal especially in a game like this. We see them coming out strong early on but only if no one has to go to their car during the game or any of that sauciness. Play a full game from beginning to end, no off plays and a victory shall be yours.Thunder’s only shot is if Justin can place the ball well (he has been doing this) but if those receivers drop balls than it’ll be the same old story. Can’t kill that kind of momentum fellas…..Clear skies in the forecast….

Browns vs Elites
Da Browns (Da Bears?) are coming off a BYE week from SAFL competition. Sitting at 4-1 (no that 1 is not an error!), the Browns are sitting nice and pretty looking down at most teams. But like in most cases, especially coming off a BYE week, this could be a potential trap game for them. The Elites have been quiet this week, a little toooooo quiet if ya know what I mean ;). This is a game that they truly believe that they can win. They feel that their youth, speed and enthusiasm will be a driving factor for this weeks’ game and honestly it could be enough. Listen, we all know that the Browns are a hard offense to stop but we also know that their D is extrememlyyyyy sus. So what does that mean for the Elites? Don’t turn the ball over, and score on every possession (I know easier said than done but if any team can do it it’s the Elites) What else? Get at least 1 stop on defense, get Anas, Squirrels, Kaiser, Pete and Muhaymin involved early on and take it to them. Oh and last but not least….BELIEVE YOU CAN WIN. If you can’t get passed the mental aspect of believing you can win how can anyone else believe? If they can pull that off than yea it’s a game that they can potentially win. The Elites have been getting better and better each week and have made enormous leaps and bounds from just 1 season ago but the Browns have been in mid-season form since week 2 so not many more adjustments need to be made ( they did a great job recruiting off-season especially Alexi, Mark and Tariq) at least on the offensive end of things. The one thing we really want to see from the Browns this week is a refreshed and energized D. Offense will get you where you need to go but the D will always be the one to cross the finish line when its all said and done….
Final Word:
The Elites are one of our favorite teams in the league. They are young, fiery group of guys who we all like to watch every week. And the truth is they really have been getting better each week and they seem so confident that we are starting to believe in them. But do they believe in themselves enough to feel that they can beat the mighty Browns?
