South Asian Football League (SAFL) Presents – 5 SAFL NFL Player Comparisons We Love!

We decided to survey the league and pick out some players we thought resembled the NFL stars we like to emulate. I left a few off of here but sound off in the chat? Who did we miss?! What did we get wrong? What did we get right?

  1. Lutalo Boyce – Tyreek Hill

It’s very rare that you see AK give up in trying to keep up with someone. We saw that a bit with Nafi in the championship game last year. This year we saw a bit of the same when the dreaded AK roster attempted to catch up to Lutalo in the AK – Savages rematch.

Much like Tyreek Hill, Lutalo is FAST. He densest try to even put a move on you, he just dares you to catch him and most of the time you don’t. Lutalo has begun to separate himself as the ROY in this incredibly talented rookie class. Lutalo has quickly established himself as the fastest player in the league and with jets like his we like to Tyreek Hill comparison a lot.

  1. Jesse Johnson – Rob Gronkowski

Jesse is a force! You know how we know that? His captain pointed it out in the chat earlier this week; he has a touchdown in every game he’s played in his young SAFL career! Much like Gronk, Jesse is an all-around great receiver but has used his rare combination of size and speed to make defenders look sorry in the red zone. This man gets up! And much like Gronk, when Jesse is feeling it, there hasn’t been much anyone has been able to do to stop him.

  1. Sims- Aaron Rodgers

It comes down to poise for this one. Sims is never flustered. He makes every throw at any time he wants. He makes it look easy much like that BAAAADDD Man. He leads arguable the highest powered offense in the SAFL and does so with crisp, on the money passes that leave you sometimes in awe. The combination of arm talent and underrated running ability makes this an easy one.

  1. Ken Teleski – Jason Witten

Ol’Reliable. Ken is the GOAT in terms of tight ends in the SAFL. Shu has played with a plethora of receivers but what seems to be his one constant is his safety valve Ken who always finds a way to make an impact on the offensive side of the ball. He isn’t the fastest or the most dynamic but he’s often open, much like the retired Cowboy great Jason Witten himself. With another season of high volume pass catching this was another easy one for me.

  1. Jason Gregory – Alex Smith

Some might scoff at this depending on how you feel about Alex Smith but I think Smith is actually an underrated QB, much like Jason. Jason isn’t known for a big arm or dynamic play making but he always makes the right read and has made his pass catchers better. Jason has quietly put together a quality season and saved the Bandits from a huge quarterback issue. We like this comparison because you may not always hear about it, but Jason has been holding down the fort and been doing a damn good job at it.
