Primetime
Primetime upset the Browns in a very exciting game! We picked Primetime to upset the Browns based on what we’ve seen from the Browns the past several weeks. Primetime right now is arguably the 3rd best team in the league. They have great athletes, a solid QB and a pedigree for success. Although they almost blew a 28-0 lead, they were able to hang on and defeat the SAFL champs. They finally can have a small break in the schedule. Their next game is against the spiraling Savages.
Savages
The Savages have been decimated with attendance. If they field their full squad, they’re actually a respectable team that can put up a good fight with almost any team in the league. They almost beat the Browns and then they choke and give a game away to the lowly Thunder. When players are in and out of lineups, it severely disrupts team chemistry and continuity. This will be a very difficult game against a Primetime team that’s looking to make a lot of noise in the playoffs. The Savages don’t have many winnable games left. They need to notch a victory these next few games to earn a playoff spot.
Matchup
Even if Primetime loses the next 3 games, they’re virtually guaranteed a playoff spot. They don’t really have much to play for besides moving up in the standings or staying put. The Savages have to come out in a hurry up offense and score on PrimeTime as often as possible. It’s easier said than done, but they have to find a way to control the clock. Primetime isn’t a potent offensive team, but they’re a good defensive team. Will Primetime come out and put the Savages out of their own misery?

Thunder vs Gators
Thunder
The Thunder are finally looking like a respectable SAFL team. Not only are they starting to slowly click on offense, but their best players are developing good chemistry with the QB. They actually looked pretty good against AK. They showed zero intimidation and fought their hearts out. This is what we need to see on a consistent basis from this team. We all know they have the talent, they just have to be more consistent in their play. They are scheduled to play a very good Gators team. Again, this is a big test for the Thunder. Can they be competitive against the elite teams?
Gators
The Gators continue to roll. They’ve now won 4 in a row and they’re looking to practically lock up 2nd place. A few more wins and this team will finish with the 2nd best record in the league. This team has taken big steps every year. They continue to recruit well every year. The main question with this team is depth. Their bench is extremely thin. They tend to tire out quickly by the end of the 2nd half. That explains why they struggle against AK. Their man defense just wears out the offensive players. And when those same 6 guys play defense, they have nothing left. AK has the blueprint to defeating the Gators, can the Thunder utilize that same blueprint?
Matchup
This is actually a more interesting matchup that what the stats suggest. The Thunder are a good defensive team. The stats don’t show it because they give up the big plays far too often. If they can limit opposing teams from big plays, they have a shot at upsetting the Gators. The Gators don’t take any team for granted and play hard against everyone. The Thunder need to keep the Gators defense on the field all game. If they can do that, they may pull off the upset. The Thunder are not quite there yet. If they are however competitive again for the 3rd straight week, watch out for the Thunder as they can be a deep sleeper.
Gators 37 – Thunder 26
Bandits vs CK
Bandits
The Bandits just got demolished by the Gators. The score was 42-8! They came out flat and practically rolled over for the Gators. This team is in a serious freefall. They’ve lost 4 straight and 2 out of their 4 losses were by good margins. We all know last year’s story with this team. They barely made the playoffs and went on to almost upset AK to play in the finals. We can’t sleep on the Bandits. They’re just too dangerous. Our concern is the way they’re losing. They’ve lost against good teams and 1 bad loss against the Savages. One game they’re competitive and the next they stink the joint out. Which version will we get this game?
CK
We can’t tell you how impressed we are with CK. Although they defeated and destroyed the Renegades, they’re still missing a good chunk of their roster due to injury. Yash and Fabio have done a great job keeping this roster together and playing at a high level. They’re practically competitive in every game and they’re practically a lock for the playoffs. The biggest questions involve seeding and injuries. Can they get healthy before the playoffs?T
Matchup
The Bandits are desperate for a win. If they bring their A game, they’ll easily defeat CK. They need to take advantage of the injuries CK has sustained. If the Bandits have their full team, they’ll be favored against CK. This is a big game for the Bandits. If they win, they can potentially jump up to the 5 seed. If CK wins, they will still be right there for the 3rd seed.

Elites vs Browns
Elites
The Elites are on a 3 game winning streak. This winning streak brings them a step closer to playoff contention. Their 3 wins are against bad teams. However, what better way to boost a teams confidence than by playing against the 3 worst teams in the league? Now that those games are over, they’re entering a very tough stretch against quality opponents. If they win 1 out of their next 3 games, they’re guaranteed a playoff spot. They really control their own destiny with regards to seeding. Can they take advantage of a below average Browns defense?
Browns
The Browns were humiliated in the first half of their last game. They were down 28-0. They were playing the worst defense we’ve seen all season out of any team. This is a major concern right now. They’re the 4th worst defense in the league and they’re rapidly dropping in the standings. Seeding is not a concern with the Browns. They will practically be the favorites to win the championship again. However, their defense has been atrociously bad at times. Part of this is due to key players missing games and the other part is lackadaisical effort. The Browns are better than this and they need to sharpen their defense right now!
Matchup
The Elites’ offense is finally scoring and clicking. Can they take advantage against a below average Browns defense? Historically, The Elites don’t do well against the Browns. Look for Shu to take out his frustration and anger against the Elites!
Browns 45 – Elites 26
AK vs Renegades
AK
AK didn’t have Ritchie or Amneet in their last game. They were still able to easily defeat a competitive Thunder team. This team is poised for a big run yet again. Right now they have to be the favorites to win the title. Can this team go undefeated and win the championship? When they’re focused and take the opponent seriously, they can drop 50 pts on anyone! When we see them clowning around or engage in smack talk, that’s when they can become a bit vulnerable. It’s gonna be very difficult to see anyone defeat this team. They have a fairly easy schedule right now. That means a lot of rest for their key players.
Renegades
They’ve easily been the worst team in the league. They average 18 pts per game and give up a whopping 38 points per game. That’s as bad as it gets. There are times where their offense looks decent and then there are receivers dropping footballs all over the field. This team drops way too many passes. Their defense is non existent. We think they’ve accepted their fate. They know that the playoffs may not be in their future this season. This is going to be an ugly matchup.
Matchup
We’re grateful that this game is the final game of the day because no one will be there to watch this disaster of a matchup. Renegades are over matched in ever facet of the game. This will be an early mercy.
