AK Santaali (3-1) vs. Floral Park (0-4)
AK Santaali is coming off their first loss of the season to Cobra Kai (3-1) last week. That’s the bad news. The good news is they will face Floral Park this week as they try to right the ship. Floral Park can be good, the problem is they don’t have enough guys show up and with six players showing up it is hard to make much noise. We hope they have a better turnout this week or this game can get ugly.
If AK Santaali wants to win, they will need to run the offense with QB Sims Singh and company as normal and just protect the ball from turnovers. The defense will need to make the Floral Park offense turn the ball over and prevent scores which we think they will be able to do. If Floral Park wants to win, they will need to first have enough guys show up which means they have guys coming off the bench. Next, they need to play almost perfect ball to beat this team on both sides of the ball. Impossible? Maybe not this team almost beat Cobra Kai Week 1 with a full squad. So we won’t totally count them out.
AK will win this game. But it won’t be a blowout if Floral Park has all their players.
