Prime Time (2-2) vs. Gators (2-2)
These two teams seem to be going in opposite directions right now. The Gators are coming off an easy win vs Floral Park (0-4) making it two in a row and showing the league that the 1-2 start may have been a fluke. On the other hand, Prime Time got spanked by Queens “QD” Diesel (2-2) in a lopsided loss and dropped three spots in the Power Rankings. Both these teams can be very good, but which team wants it more and can secure that Top-3 spot?
We like the Gator’s veteran-savvy team led by Ramy Abdelhamid and they have tons of talent to succeed. Prime Time has tons of talent as well but is lacking a leader that has a dominant presence and has struggled a bit at the QB position, even making a switch at halftime last week. Can they get this big win this week and show they belong amongst the top dogs?
If Prime Time wants to win they absolutely must get consistent QB play and feed that talent the damn ball. The defense seems to struggle in zone defense but has been stingy in man. If the Gators want to win, They will need to press the Prime Time speedsters and not allow them to take a simple 5-yard route to the house. The offense must put pressure on the Prime Time defense by winning the one-on-ones as we don’t think Prime Time can manage to play zone for too long and stay in this game.
Our prediction goes with the hotter team with the better all-around offense.
