Browns (3-0) vs. Balls Deep (1-3)
Well, Balls Deep sure knows how to lose close games. Losing two weeks in a row on failed 2pt conversions, this team looks really good at times then they look really bad. The influx of Division 1 talent has made this team respectable and if they can start to figure things out altogether they could make some noise. Anthony De Palma has taken control of the offense and, to be honest, he’s playing like a Division 1 QB right now. He has some good weapons around him in Miguel, Earl, and Ali. This week won’t be easy facing the #1 ranked Browns.
The good thing for Balls Deep is that the core guys have played against these Browns players before but the bad thing is they just aren’t as good yet, they are still building chemistry with each other from an outsider’s point of view. The Browns need to simply make a few stops on defense and score on this wide-open Balls Deep defense. Balls Deep needs to keep putting up points via the aerial attack like they did two weeks ago against the Sleepers (2-1) but we don’t see the defense being able to make any stops of the Brown’s offense.
It will be close but the Browns sweep the doubleheader this week.
