Thunder (0-2) v Titans (2-0)
On a doubleheader this week, the Thunder will look to go 2-0 and turn around their season on one single Saturday. Sitting in front of them is the all-mighty Long Island Titans. Last week was easy for the Titans as they have our attention in D2. We gave a short analysis of the Thunder as they face off as The Suicide Squad in their double-header matchup and we state the same thing: Consistent QB play, don’t drop the ball on key possessions, and get your veterans involved early on.
This week shouldn’t be any different for the Titans as they face the struggling Thunder who look to pull off the upset. The Titans are leading the league in several team categories including wins and points scored. They have established a dynamic passing game with Isaiah Woodard, Ali Tariq, and Isaiah Taylor leading the team in touchdown receptions. QB Soafhan is quickly becoming one of the Top Quarterbacks in the league with 11 passing touchdowns, 58.9% completion percentage, and only 3 interceptions. We can see easily that having a sharp decision-maker at the helm makes a world of difference.
Although we think it will be close, the Titans are just too good to slip up.
